The staff was ATTENTIVE and the place was fairly clean. Ideal location, walking distance to Friary Tower and Gardens. The building itself was really great with a beautiful garden.

Thorough staff and more than adequate breakfast with lots of options. Booked delightful & original room with sea views. Near the beach that was wonderful. Spotlessly clean hotel and very efficient service. Relaxing coffee and tea in the pool bar, good parking place.

Fairly clean and great value place. Great stay in this downtown area. Moreover, Richmond Castle was nearby. I loved airy room with a spacious bathroom. The bed was comfy and the staff were quite extremely friendly! The gardens were gorgeous here.

Huge bathroom with a walk-in shower; best staff. They placed us in a king room which was cosy and adequate. The downstairs bar was delightful and the drinks were hot. Very relaxing stay in the shopping area.

The whole place was fairly clean and the staff were fabulous. Superb service. Central location, around 10-15 minutes walk from Influence Church. We loved fine and freshly prepared breakfast.

It was a superb time staying at this cosy hotel. Grounds were kept fairly clean, breakfast was substantial. Reasonably priced rooms, well decorated and amazing. I was surprised by the absolutely gorgeous castle view.

the breakfast had lots of food and it was good. such tourist sights as green howards museum were so close to the hotel. we think we totally recommend to anyone. durham tees valley airport was hardly 35 minutes away by car.
